The Republican received the trophy “Undisputed Champion of Beautiful Clean Coal,” which was presented at an event at the White House on Wednesday (11).
At the event, Donald Trump signed an executive order determining that the Department of War should purchase energy from coal. He then received the award from James Grech, CEO of Peabody Energy.
In his acceptance speech, the president began by praising coal workers.
“You heat our homes, power our factories, and turn natural resources into wealth and American dreams. Our incredible coal miners,” said the U.S. leader.
However, at one point during his speech, Donald Trump began to stutter and slur his words, which raised suspicions about his health.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told The Daily Beast that President Trump “is the most perceptive, approachable, and energetic president in American history.”
